Distopus: September 2026

The upcoming inq28 event the ruinations at blacksands, has given me the opportunity to return to an old friend Inquisitor Darthur, Former interrogator of Inquisitor Madine and then Inquisitor Vendrakes acolyte after her untimely death specifically a glow up version of his his 5th age self. i liked the idea of recreating Darthur from from this era as its my favourite writing i have done in the hobby. A depressed chem addicted loner running from his past to an unsure future. at blacksands he has joined up with a group of radical pilgrims bent on disruption. the time line is set prior to finding the bloodclock . I was never really happy with the model interpretation of him from that age and i recently picked up some of the newer Aos slaves to darkness chaos warrior models and realised it was a good opportunity to remodel him fir the event. I also kit bashed some members of the cult he is manipulating.

Radical Ordo Xenos Inquisitor Darthur (a former interrogator of Inquistrix Madine’s and acolyte of Inquisitor Vendrake)

Darthur is a conflicted obscura addicted, paranoid delusional, who has been suffering from memory loss and hallucinations since the death of Madine and the sudden departure of Vendrake.

He has been searching on and off for Madine's killer for years and has lost hope of ever finding the truth. His delusional mind is so fractured that if the truth was presented to him he would hardly recognise it as such.

His quest for answers and meaning has led him to believe an ancient ordo chronos device is located within the Sword Point Stars, and this holds the answers to the questions he seeks. He worries that the ork invasion will destroy the device, and he intends to support any faction that can put an end to that.

He arrived on Blacksands alone and has aligned himself with an ardent faction of violent fanatic pilgrims opposed to the living saint.

It is probable that due to his machinations noble house Volda is an unwitting accomplice.

The last Darthur i made was for a game with PDH that never happened unfortunately where he was to face off against an agent of the ordo chronos, blogged here on insta six years ago the ages of Darthur being 9 years old !!!
