I've been really enjoying your work on these as I've seen them pop up on Instagram. You've really managed to give each of them a real sense of life and personality.
You and me both bud... I just seem to have all these miniatures and conversions built and sitting all over the place... But working up the drive to paint has been difficult of late.
These are really awesome models, some of my favorite guard ever. They are an excellent combination of old and new. The space marine looks suitably imposing too! Hopefully the marine we sent you arrives quickly, and fits in with the rest nicely!
Some very evocative kitbashing and great shout outs to the classic artwork and models, Neil! Those models really take me back to the retro Guardsman I painted this time last year. Any plans to add some googles to those shaved down Cadian helmets, I wonder?
Cheers mate. I remember your gaurdsmen from last year. No goggles unless i use a shaved down orlock head. But I do plan on adding some scouts based on the wonderful space marine operative the Wier brothers have gifted me. And maybe a few oldschool vehicles
