This is fantastic, I see the wheels went, love the little mechanical hands, etc. underneath though. Amazing paintign too, proper Grimdark, can't wait to see the crew on baord.
Cheers , yeah defiler legs were considered for a while, but they were out of stock. Although i think i prefer the antigrav look anyhow. The small legs put me in.mind of shrimps ..scuttling about.. Painting is insured by Mr Blanches black space marine from a few years back and the black pearl pirate ship:) still needs some more work though , brown oil washed over verdigris and rust dyes toped off with Windsor newton white ink washes and mug weathering powders. Still need to decide on the yeoville crest .. The crew may well have mutynied by time i get paint on them :D
Oh my word! C'est incredible....there goes this month's Data allowance on my phone as I absorb every little detail and drink in the atmosphere. I have an image of this behemoth drifting between Hives, casting its ethereal shadow across the Ash Wastes as dust storms hide it once more from the carnage left behind.....and that my friend, is why even the most Spook addled Sump scum know better than to leave the safety of the Underhive and venture out into the wastes! Inspiring as always :D
A black cloud hanging tenebrous, rank with murderous anticipation.. I could imagine clusters of these floating close together forming antigrav citystates hundreds or thousands of building fortress's drifting through the wastes and over the world sump , a city of outcastes , forming a powerful merchant guild harbour hub.
It's never less than amazing how you manage to turn something that might be a simple "terrain project" for everybody else into not only a fully realised space that people could actually live (or at least "exist") in, but also a perfect slice of the 40k universe. Stupendously brilliant, mate!
